Title: Network Administrator Please read through the entire job description to determine if you are a match. You must match the JD below! Summary: The Network Administrator will be responsible for network and security systems with IT systems life cycle management including introduction, configuration, operation, maintenance and discard. The ideal candidate for this position is certified to work with Cisco networking equipment, and other network/security vendor products. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience at the enterprise networking level, and can also work well with legacy systems. Responsibilities: Administration of network infrastructure systems to support the Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks across all HQ/Remote sites Administration of Cisco Core switches, distribution switches. Administration of Sonicwall fireall and VPNs Participate in design meetings, reviews, implementation projects and coordinate with telecommunication vendors Maintain all network monitoring systems for connectivity, performance, and configuration changes Maintain existing IT network elements; implement upgrades, replacements and new equipment as directed Monitor the IT Network systems for proper operation, error conditions and unauthorized changes Respond to alerts and take corrective action; provide root cause analysis and suggest improvements Maintain appropriate logs, databases and history to perform trending analysis and take proactive steps to ensure the proper operation of systems Maintain appropriate tools to assist in the execution of duties Maintain appropriate and current documentation of network Suggest improvements and seek additional training to maintain skills necessary to execute duties Other duties may be assigned by management Work service requests and help desk tickets on a daily basis Provide off-hours support Requirements: Demonstrated proficient with network administration and installation Ability to multitask and excel in a fast paced 24/7 environment Detail oriented with excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to collaborate with internal and external technology partners to ensure end to end quality of all products, services and systems; customer service focus Understanding of company IT policies and procedures 24/7 On-Call as per assigned schedule Proficiency in English Excellent communication skills Customer-oriented and cool-tempered BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field (KSA) knowledge/experience, skills, ability & attitude Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent work experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred. 3+ years of experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, and Wireless with advanced knowledge of TCP/IP network administration and troubleshooting 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Firewalls or similar security systems with advanced knowledge of network security applications, tools, and methodologies 3+ years of experience working in both LINUX and UNIX environments; ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues at both an application and Server OS level. 3+ years of experience in a 24/7 Mission Critical environment preferred
