Cigna's Global Data & Analytics (GD&A) unit offers solutions that provide actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers that help reduce health costs, improve outcomes, provide financial security and measure and forecast business performance. Role Summary As a member of the Data Science Center of Excellence (CoE), the Analytics Platform Product Manager is responsible for managing and championing product integration and development of Cigna's advanced analytics and data science platforms. The Analytics Platform Product Manager will harness a combination of Product Management, Data Science and Analysis skills to closely collaborate with GD&A Data Scientists and Business Analysts to define feature sets, design platforms and build, deploy and drive adoption of the platform components in partnership with the Data and Analytics Engineering team. Responsibilities: + Act as the product owner for the Analytics Platform toolkits and capabilities to deliver on Cigna's Global Data & Analytics solutions for internal and external business partners through the use of Agile practices + Develop and validate product release roadmaps, iternation and defect backlog grooming and launch readiness plans tied to the Data Science CoE and Analytics Platform business strategy + Define and document user personas, user scenarios, use case definitions, and detailed product requirements to drive the development and release of platform capabilities + Develop deep knowledge of data science and advanced analytics community and innovations by interviewing prospective and existing platform consumers to determine needs for product roadmap direction + Define, track and analyze key platform usage, adoption, and performance metrics to provide strategic recommendations + Provide analytics platform subject matter expertise to help understand platform positioning and key value propositions through internal communication channels (blogs, presentations, case studies) + Collaborate with external vendors as needed on aligning feature roadmap and development. Qualifications: + Experience driving agile and/or lean product development with demonstrated record of delivering solutions to internal stakeholders and/or external market segments + Direct relevant industry work experience developing solutions in the data analytics space, including hands-on expertise in statistical data analysis, predictive modeling, machine/deep learning working with commercial and open source tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL, SAS). + Experience and knowledge of the big data landscape (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Cloud-based storage/compute/network infrastructure as well as data processing solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP) + Strong understanding of analytics and data science processes including model development lifecycle, model performance management and governance, and software development lifecycle including ability to articulate value propositions for advanced analytics use cases + Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking and communication skills through whiteboarding, presentations, and written content creation + Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Nice to Haves: + Healthcare data and analytics industry experience (provider, payer, medical, pharmaceutical or health services) + Demonstrated record of building data platforms (vs. turn-key products) and communicating their value through solution selling or business value consulting + Strong knowledge of the data science and advanced analytics solution vendors and competitive landscape Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, age, disability, sex (including pregnancy), childbirth or related medical conditions including but not limited to lactation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital or familial status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable equal employment opportunity laws.
