This Sales Effectiveness Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and execution of the strategic sales vision of Cornerstone by creation, development, delivery and evolution of enablement tools, programs and coaching that enhance the frontline execution of sales processes both globally and within the business segments this role supports. This high-profile position relies on a person's deep understanding of sales processes, sales systems, and innovative enablement solutions. This position is responsible for specialized training for the needs of direct sales reps who are selling into Public Sector accounts in NA including Federal Government, State & Local, Higher Ed, Non Profit and Healthcare and supporting our Global Sales Partners who are in sales and account roles working with our clients and prospects. Enablement will include onboarding, product, sales process, deal strategy, 'Challenger' process, tools etc. This position will report to the Director of Enablement and will align closely with our executive sales leaders and our partner alliances team as well as collaborating with other program managers and teams to design and deliver content. There will be mainly US Travel with a potential for some global travel - roughly 30% In this role you will... + Focus on improving sales productivity by working with leadership to design and deliver field content Manage, develop, design, and deliver specific training including: o Sales and engagement processes o Business and operating efficiencies o Business/Commercial Acumen o Market/Competitor Intelligence o New Hire Sales Certification support including product knowledge & sales skills o Sales tools skills and new sales tools implementation support o Effective Renewals and increasing market share across the product range (Cross sell - Upsell) 1:1 coaching and support for RVP's and sales reps on an ongoing basis on the above topics and any others deemed necessary Collaborate with global teammates on the best methods of delivery, priority of projects and schedule for sales enablement initiatives Collaborate with Sales Ops and Senior Management on best practices for Renewals, sales processes, and other global initiatives Train to improve adoption and data quality of Salesforce.com, Apttus (Pricing Tool) and other sales tools Training and Knowledge asset management and refresh cycle New hire and new sales partner welcome calls and end to end onboarding program management Management and joint ownership with line Managers for progress of new hires and scorecards Maintain compliance and reporting of curriculums Annual Sales Kick Off Support Quarterly Business Reviews and Deal Review process Other duties or special projects as assigned You're got what it takes if you have... Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, L&D or related experience 5+ years successful sales or sales enablement/training responsibility Experience with Talent Management or HR Technology a plus Excellent team player who can work with virtual and global team members Able to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment Creative problem-solving skills, work under pressure and meet deadlines Self-starter work ethic Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in the organization Experience using CRM tools, comfort with salesforce.com Ability to travel up to 30% globally #LI-CT1 Equal Employment Opportunity has been, and will continue to be, a fundamental commitment at Cornerstone OnDemand.
