About the Opportunity DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Data Center Architect -CCIE (SME) to support Our client in Baltimore , MD Responsibilities to include Develop technology plan to migrate all data, servers, applications, and supporting systems from Customer's current computenetworkstorage solution of VMwareCiscoNetApp to new Cisco (Hyperflex, UCS, Cloud Center, Intersight) VMware and Cohesity platform within acceptable levels of downtime Act as subject matter expert (SME) resource advocating for Customer's interests concerning hardware and software technology to be deployed in scope of project Facilitate migration plan in concert with Customer's existing technical staff resources Determine most feasible and effective configuration for Customer's new VMwareCiscoCohesity platform to be hosted at TierPoint locations (in Maryland and Texas) Develop configuration, replication and ongoing administration plan for replication of data and virtual servers between primary hosted server location, disaster recovery site and cloud hosting vendors (AWS, Azure) Create documentation of new system's hardware architecture and systems configurations as well as COOP plans and Disaster Recovery plans based on new VMwareCiscoCohesity platforms Present Customer's project sponsors and stakeholders with available options and costbenefit analysis on technical matters throughout contract duration Supply Customer's executive leadership with options for decision making, progress reports and system documentation deliverables Advocate on Customer's behalf with vendor (Cisco) supplied staff and resources Work directly with Customer's technical staff in matters of planning, migration, training and knowledge transfer for new platform Qualifications Education and Years of Experience Bachelor Degeree or More. Required Cisco CCIE Data Center certified Experience implementing similar size Cisco Hyperflex systems (atleast 15 nodes, 300 virtual servers, across 2 physical DataCenter locations) Experience and knowledge of Cisco Unified Computing (UCS) Experience and knowledge of Cisco Cloud Center (formerly CliQr) Experience and knowledge of Cisco Workload Manager Experience and knowledge of Cisco Intersight Experience and knowledge of Cohesity DataPlatform Experience and knowledge of VMware vSphere Additional Requirement(s) Min.
