Kforce has a client in search of an Agile Coach in New York, NY.Summary:The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching teams to adopt and implement Agile practices. The Coach will act as a servant leader to Agile teams to deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of our technology initiatives. The Coach requires a high level of self-motivation, facilitation and communication along with the ability to drive and motivate teams to pragmatically use good practices and techniques that deliver results. Partnering with key technical, business, and support stakeholders, this role acts as a team facilitator, constantly challenging old norms while keeping her/his teams focused on the goals of iteration and speed to market.Duties:
* Acts as a change agent who helps set the vision, show the way, and provide thought leadership on removing impediments to Agile success
* Responsible for coaching and mentoring team resources at either the scrum and/or program levels, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Technical Leads and executives, to leverage Agile principles, engineering practices and frameworks to deliver high value business capabilities. Responsible for helping to coach the team on product management, design thinking, engineering culture, and DevOps
* Serves as a subject matter expert on scaling Agile development, embraces servant leadership, understands engineering practices and serves as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and mindsets, which includes key mindset shifts in the journey to Agile
* Designs, develops and facilitates training of Agile practices to assigned teams
* Performs evaluations, and reviews of processes and methodologies. Identifies strengths and continuous improvement recommendations of existing processes
* Exemplifies the company's ethical principles
* At least 15 years of experience in Information Technology and 7 years of experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and support tools
* At least 5 years of experience within an Agile solution environment working on large scale, multiple scrum team
* At least 3 years of experience leading Agile transformation
* Experience communicating with leadership (lead through influence)
* Agile or Professional Coaching certification or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills:
* Working knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and process change/improvement
* SAFe certified or other scaled Agile frameworks or equivalent experience
