Kforce has a client in search of a Privacy & Compliance Program Manager for a Remote/New York/Norwalk position. They must be able to travel to Norwalk 3 days a week and New York office 1 day a week.Summary:This position will support the RX Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the RX US business by providing subject matter expertise in privacy and data protection laws and requirements and implementation of the RX US CCPA Program and other related privacy programs that may be identified as needed.Key Responsibilities:* Supporting the RX DPO and the Global Privacy Office in providing the US business with high quality and timely advice on compliance with all aspects of US privacy and data protection law* Measuring and tracking privacy compliance activity and communicating privacy status to the Business Unit Senior Risk and Compliance Owner, the Senior Leadership Team, internal Legal Counsel and the Global Privacy Office* Assist with the implementation of the California Consumer Privacy Act (and other Federal and State privacy legislation) Compliance Program (the -CCPA Program-) and work closely with the RX CCPA Project Manager and Steering Committee* Manage multiple, concurrent projects that support/feed into to the core RX US Privacy & Compliance Program; maintaining a high level of quality and consistency for all assigned projects* Embedding requirements, processes and standards set by RELX and the Global Privacy Office; this includes the implementation of applicable privacy and data protection compliance programs that dovetail into the RX Global Privacy and Data Protection Compliance Program* Provide analysis, recommendations, and assistance with implementation of process improvements within and between the RX US business and the Global Privacy Office* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders* University degree or equivalent or 5 years of working in similar roles in a commercial environment* CIPP/US, CIPM or other officially recognized privacy certificationThe business is looking for a candidate who is experienced in project management, skilled at reporting and communication, and has data protection knowledge and experience; Such knowledge and experience should include:* Experience designing and running privacy or compliance programs* Working knowledge of the CCPA, and real-world experience of US privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act 2018 and CAN-SPAM Act 2003; With the ability to analyze legislative requirements and relate these to organizational practices and solutions* Deep understanding of marketing and sales functions and processes, as well as online platforms, systems, data and processes* Strong ability to engage effectively and create buy-in with all levels of the organization* Ability to provide clear and effective communications and to report on changes and issues* Strong analytic and project management experience working across functional departments and on cross disciplinary projects* A highly visible champion in the business with a -can-do- attitude and enthusiasm that inspires others* Ability to move at pace and use different improvement strategies appropriate to the scope of work* Ability to take control and exercise leadership* Well organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines* Ability to work effectively and supportively within a global team* Ability to lead project work streams with a diverse audience* Ability to travel as neededKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
