RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities:
  • The QA Engineer develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites
  • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures
  • Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
  • Consults with Engineering in resolution of problems
  • Designs quality assurance and test processes for software modules and integrated systems
  • Analyzes design and determines test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities based on knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution
  • Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation
  • Identifies and creates solutions for issues with code and integration
  • Communicates with team members about test status and issue resolution


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development using Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in the Material Handling Industry/Distribution Centers and warehouse automation
  • Experience with ASP.net, AJAX, Java Script, JQuery and HTML5 a plus
  • Experience with developing inter-process communication (TCP/IP socket of WCF) a plus
  • Experience with Mobile Software Development a plus
  • Experience with WPF and XAML Technologies a plus
  • Knowledge of software testing methodology and quality assurance tools and processes
  • Computer skills, including Java or .NET Framework, C#, VB or C/C ++, or SQL or Oracle Server
  • Excellent knowledge of computer science design patterns and ability to develop objected-oriented design patterns
  • Have understanding of real-time control software architectures embedded RTOS application design using threads and inter-process communication; Structured code, abstraction, device drivers, etc.
  • Familiar with Team Foundation Server version control system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
