Title: Enterprise Program Manager - Delivery

Location: Remote position with travel as needed to Hartford/Springfield, CT

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

In this role you will be directly involved in both project delivery and client relationship management for FIS Omni solution implementations. The project manager will drive most of the day-to-day project management and delivery as well as your focus on engaging Senior Level (i.e. CEO, CIO, COO) executives in fundamentals of business change through consulting.

As the delivery owner for the Omni Suite, you will be responsible for refining and enforcing the methodology with a repeatable implementation process and ensuring the project team follows the delivery approach. The implementations follow an Agile or Waterfall methodology so ensuring that the processes are aligned with customer needs and schedules will be key.

In this role you will also be responsible for identifying, qualifying and estimating new (and add-on) business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics for penetrating your account and cross selling into the account.

The ideal candidate will have Financial Services Program Delivery experience but Retirement Services Experience with Omni background as well as experience delivering and supporting the Omni Suite of Products would be preferred.

This position will report to the Senior Director of Program Management Office.

Qualifications:

Experience in a complex program and project management, business delivery, or management consultant role of end-to-end delivery. Experience with several multi-million dollar programs with cross-business and technology delivery required.

Senior Executive Presence Possess an interest and passion towards engaging Senior Level (i.e. CEO, CIO, COO) executives in grasping and enabling the fundamentals of business change through consulting solutions.

Responsible for delivery of client installations, upgrades, new product implementations and related environments.

Proven ability to drive and deliver complex projects across a variety of work streams and functional areas including controlling scope, managing client expectations and driving results; including the ability to operate in both business and IT areas

Ability to establish technology goals, objectives and operating procedures consistent with the overall strategic plan.

Lead and educate internal teams on common practices and trends for digital initiatives, including websites, mobile sites, and native apps for iOS and Android.

Design and maintain an appropriate Software Development Life Cycle that will compliment fast-paced business needs and schedule. Team is currently using Waterfall and Agile.

Lead and execute projects in support of ongoing client initiatives. At any time this might include five to eight active projects overseeing the Project Managers responsible for these deliveries.

Demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly with highly diverse teams

Interface with client teams and clients for estimates, service requests, hosting support, troubleshooting and to resolve any escalated issues.

Proactively collaborate and plan activities with medium and large footprint clients.

Deep knowledge of Information Systems/Business Consulting Methodologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and can think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems as they come up and to learn from the issues

Strong organizational skills, critical attention to detail while managing onshore and offshore extended teams.

A high-degree of flexibility, analytical mindset, and ability to operate within various functional groups/LOBs will be critical to the success of the role.

Proven ability to deliver results in a changing environment with a high tolerance for uncertainty.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. A strong technical background is required to manage technical projects and handle competing interests. Must be in active pursuit of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or have the equivalent level of education and experience for the job level.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelinesKnowledge of the industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK)Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles (e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation) and the correct project application Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry (e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma)Knowledge of financial services industry Knowledge of company s products and services Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects (e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools, such as earned value database, audit tools, project repository, including risk, issues and action items database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, Platinum Process Continuum) Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely-differing viewpoints Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature

Expert/lead role. Expert knowledge of project management and technical specialty. Works on highly complex assignments that involve a high degree of risk, impacts to business unit performance and makes use of the individuals expertise within the technical project management specialty. May coach and/or mentor project management and support staff. Generally manages large client programs (i.e., approximately 75,000 to 200,000 project hours with a team of 100 to more than 200 team members, an internal cost of $5,000,000 to more than $10,000,000, and a project duration of 6 to 24 months) of high risk, high complexity, high client and/or FIS visibility, and the relationship is strategic to the FIS portfolio. Works without supervision on the most complex projects. Complete latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires fifteen or more years of work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry OR in a related technical field (e.g., application development, technology integration, business analysis, client technology consulting) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
