Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Datacenter IT Operations Analyst, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

**As a successful Datacenter IT Operations Analyst, your performance objectives include:**
+ Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities
+ Building strong working relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
+ Ensuring alignment of operations and programs to Microsoft's big picture and goals
+ Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams
+ Overseeing the teams responsible for hardware installation, cabling, power cycles, deployments, and hardware troubleshooting
+ Working with onsite teams to resolve escalations and clear blocking issues to enable continued delivery of datacenter support activities
+ Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity
+ Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success
+ At least three years of experience working in a 24x7x365 production environment or related experience
+ At least three years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
+ Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights
+ Valid license to drive standard street-legal automatic transmission vehicles within your datacenter's local jurisdiction
+ **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ College or university degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience
+ Completion of the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) program. Achieving this certification can be applied to past work experience.
+ Experience in Microsoft datacenter processes and tooling or related experience
+ Applicable certifications: CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications
+ Basic working knowledge of CE infrastructures (e.g. UPS, Generator, AHU, etc.)
+ Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment (pallet jacks, chassis lifts, etc.)
+ **Flexibility to work non-business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays**
+ Awareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles. (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.)
+ Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g., PMI, etc.)
+ **Understanding or program and process improvement principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)**
**Background Check Requirements:**
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
+ Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance.
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
