Moda Operandi is seeking a seasoned Manager of Women s E-Commerce Styling to work in our photo studio styling on set and managing on-model e-commerce styling. Taking direction from our Style Director and our in-house production team, and working independently, this position will support the company s merchandising strategy by executing brand-consistent looks that appeal to our customer. He/she will be responsible for maintaining a consistent fashion point-of-view and elevated, fashion-forward aesthetic throughout all of our on-model e-commerce photography. The ideal candidate will have a strong fashion sense and management skills, with the ability to grow and nurture a team of creative stylists. An obsessive attention to detail and awareness of the Moda Operandi brand a must. What You'll Do Style and manage the execution of on-brand, elevated on-model e-commerce shoots, on a daily basis Liaise with brand managers and Style Director to ensure product is being shot according to brand/designer/season specifications Review styling of all on-model sets prior to shoot, and afterwards to approve images, ensuring they are up to Moda standards Manage a team of stylists, nurturing their growth and creativity, inspiring them and instilling a level of excellence and pride in their work Maintain ownership over Moda s Style Guide continually updating and distributing amongst necessary team members Collaborate with talent booker on managing roster of talent- including freelance/Europe stylists and models Monitor website to ensure a consistency amongst product shots/categories and alert team of any discrepancies Continuously evaluate our creative assets, as well as the competitions, ensuring Moda Operandi leads the way in online styling Oversee handling of merchandise while in studio s possession, ensuring it is received and returned in immaculate, sellable condition and in a timely manner Who You Are 3+ years on-set photo shoot and fashion styling experience, preferably in an e-commerce/luxury environment Experience managing, growing and nurturing a creative team Commercially aware with strong knowledge of designers, brands, trends and Moda Operandi point-of-view Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, e-commerce setting and respond to change with positive attitude; communicate effectively and collaborate well with team members a must Exceptional work ethic and organizational skills, along with a keen eye for detail Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally and work off-hours, as needed Professional, well spoken with strong communication skills Pro-active and able to show initiative and generate ideas to constantly improve the image quality of the site and studio processes The job description is to be used merely as a guide of expectations rather than an exhaustive list of all duties and competencies.
