This role sits within the Field Strategic Services (FSS) group within MSWM is focused on transformational platform strategies that provide better tools for Financial Advisors, support staff and clients. The Strategic Client Onboarding (SCO) team within FSS is seeking a strategic thinker with experience building partnerships with key business partners. SCO recently launched One Client - a shift from an account centric to a client centric data view - across wealth management and this is an essential role to drive adoption. The Vice President - Product Manager Strategic Partnerships will need to gather requirements, manage and prioritize stakeholder priorities. This is a critical leadership role that requires the individual to build consensus across a variety of stakeholder groups to ensure financial advisor and client needs are met and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. S/he must become a subject matter expert for One Client and the front-end applications used for client onboarding and new account opening. Build partnerships with the various Wealth Management stakeholders - Lending, Private Wealth, Advisory, technology and operations team to drive One Client adoption Demonstrated success to form and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with wealth management business partners Ability to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple priorities and initiatives Comfortable using data driven insights to strengthen partnerships with the various Wealth Management stakeholders, technology and operations to drive One Client adoption Educate partners on opportunities and constraints (legal, compliance, technology, etc.) of various solutions Develop strategic business requirements to achieve strategic solutions, building solution consensus between business partners, operations, UX, IT, legal, compliance, and risk Facilitate interviews and focus groups with end users to understand business processes and connect-the-dots to other to related One Client projects Lead the development of communications and training programs to educate the field and call Resolve daily escalations from senior management, the Service Center, Business Partners, and FAs/CSAs Qualifications: Qualifications BS/BA degree required A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or Wealth Management or client onboarding Required Skills/ Qualifications Proactive, self-starter and strategic thinker Excellent analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving/issues-resolution skills Strong sense of ownership and accountability High tolerance for ambiguity Ability to adapt and respond to changing business partner demands Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to operate independently and problem solve under strict deadlines Must be highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work well with employees across a diverse range of functional groups Must be able to assume a high level of autonomy quickly Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience/familiarity with Agile
