The College of Global Public Health (GPH) is seeking a qualified Program Manager to establish the necessary infrastructure, processes and policies to ensure the successful development and growth of a new Center for Implementation Science. The Program Manager will provide leadership and administrative direction, in collaboration with Dr. Donna Shelley, the Center Director, to advance strategic initiatives and Center goals. The successful candidate will have a high degree of professional maturity, commitment to excellence, independence, flexibility, and initiative, and will possess the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals, teams and populations both internally and externally. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Assist Director with development of annual and long-term planning of the Center objectives + Manage a variety of center activities and events in support of the Center including planning and facilitating all Center meetings, developing and distributing agendas and meeting materials and keep strategic initiatives moving forward + Attend Departmental administrative meetings and serve as a liaison between Center staff, faculty, and CGPH departments as appropriate. + Liaise with and represent the Center to various internal and external partners and sustain their continued engagement in Center activities. + Coordinate and participate in preparation of grant submissions. Gather required documents, from collaborators and subcontractor organizations as needed. Work with the PIs, and Sponsored Programs Administration to make corrections as needed. + Track and report on active, pending and planned grant applications + Oversee compliance with funding agencies and the IRB by ensuring required information is maintained and reported on a regular basis. + Oversee preparation of all budgets for Center programs and grants. Track revenue and expenses and monitor budgets, including salary allocations and expenses + Work with Departmental administration to hire new Center staff, address any performance issues, and process related changes in employment status (i.e. change in hours, termination, etc.). + Collaborate with communications office to facilitate dissemination of Center activities and raise Center profile including maintaining and working with communications to update website and leverage social media. + Participate in the development of publications and conference presentations
