Senior Middleware Administrator Location: NJ-Woodbridge Job Number: JO-1907-2008 Openings: Share - - Email this job General Description or purpose To Build, Automate and Maintain our complete Devops CI/CD pipelines running both on premise and on Cloud (AWS). Responsibilities Keep the applications that support the business up and running per service level agreements.Perform scheduled and emergency changes to applications per change control procedures.Perform maintenance as required to support application availability requirements.Develop and support new and existing environments through the entire life cycle including acquisition and decommissioningConfigure for high availability and Disaster Recovery for critical business applicationsMentor and cross train other Middleware/Devops Engineers and Developers to ensure consistency in our procedures to provide a stable and secure environmentWork independently with minimal supervisionWork with other Teams(Network, Database, Security and Application Development) to resolve issuesPerform other job-related duties as assignedSupport releases and participate in 24X7 oncall rotation Requirements and Skills Highly developed problem solving skills, Troubleshooting & diags in a critical production infrastructureProficiency configuring and managing applications for fail over and High availabilityExperience with Cloud (AWS). EC2, ELB, VPC, Subnets, Route 53, AMIs, Auto Scaling, EBS,S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lamda and AWS Managed ServicesExperience with automation using configuration management tool AnsibleProficient in configuring CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsExperience with KubernetesProficiency with Applications networking with TCP/IP, DNS, SNMPUnderstanding of SQL databases and query structure (MSsql,MySQL,Athena,DocumentDB)Working level proficiency with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems (RHEL7,Windows 2012)Proficiency with Automation (Shell scripting, Groovy etc..)Excellent knowledge of Disaster Recovery and High availability methodsExperience mentoring othersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written and teamwork EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/DEGREE REQUIREMENTS 5 years of DevOps Engineering experience in Building and Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsExperience with Subversion, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, Dockers, Kubernetes, Solar Winds, Datadog, ELK Stack, Packers, TerraformStrong troubleshooting and debugging skills to find issues with the CI/CD Pipelines and FlowsExperience building, maintaining and administering Open source Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines in the Kubernetes ecosystemExperience with Configuration Management tool AnsibleExperience with AWS, building HA and DR solutions for the applications running on AWSExcellent problem-solving, diagnostics and trouble shooting abilityTake part in an On-Call rotation supporting 24x7 critical Production applications.
