A Client in Norristown, PA is looking for an efficient, self-motivated, pro-active, organized and well-rounded individual that has experience in the technical aspects of end user and infrastructure support for this Tier 2 position. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess the skills required to successfully execute tasks, have a strong work ethic, and be a dynamic team player. This person will be expected to execute work on one or more projects simultaneously as delegated by the Technology Director. Some of the day to day functions of this job are to: Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Diagnose issues with hardware, software, access and configuration, and escalate when needed. Monitors the Support desk ticketing queue and support desk phone calls. Triage of Support desk tickets and resolves or assigns to the appropriate resource. Identifies, research, and resolves technical problems. Documents, tracks and monitors the ticket assigned to ensure a timely resolution. May rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job function does not typically require exercising independent judgment.Requirement to the Position: 1. 5 years Systems/IT support experience 2. Experience with Windows devices, Active Directory, etc. 3. Familiarity with VPN, basic network connectivity, deploy/configure/migrate new hardware, set-up monitors, etc. 4. Excellent communication skills - provided by Dice
