_About the Organization:_ The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EHS) is the largest secretariat in MA state government and is comprised of 12 agencies, in addition to 2 soldiers' homes and the MassHealth program. We support individuals who are developmentally disabled, mentally ill, blind, deaf or hard of hearing. _About the Role:_ As a member of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, (EOHHS), data warehouse, (DW), team, The Project Manager, (PM), will be responsible for managing projects in the DW. The PM will ensure that the scope and requirements of projects are met through managing and monitoring the development and implementation of solutions. The PM will work with various levels of staff including analysts, developers, executives and business sponsors where knowledge of the healthcare industry and state government processes is ideal. The PM must be flexible and willing to work in an Agile environment. The PM will be involved in many projects, and may be assigned to additional tasks as appropriate so adaptability is important. The ideal candidate will be creative and have a keen/ accurate problem-solving ability along with collaboration and facilitation skills so that they can work collaboratively with a broad range of people while keeping projects on track. _ Responsibilities:_ Manage project teams with specific subject matter focus; teams include business analysts and developers Align project goals to achieve the strategic vision and operating architecture; defining the people, processes, tools, and technology Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements Lead large scale DW projects leveraging the agile methodology Engage and collaborate with diverse groups of business users with varied needs Understand business requirements and their impact on the business and DW Maintain up to date, comprehensive, documentation consistent with DW practice and policy Develop and document technical standards, practices & policies to meet the needs of business users and technical staff consistent with DW practices and policies Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources; reconcile conflicts and creatively manage solutions for existing or new problems Manage and report on an ongoing workload in an efficient manner consistent with policy _Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:_ 3 years of experience working in a PM capacity, preferably in healthcare on IT or DW projects Proven experience working in an agile or hybrid environment Ability to work collaboratively with diverse leaders; communicating an IT vision and strategy across all levels of the organization; building consensus around key initiatives/ projects Strong experience with project management concepts: developing project plans, risk management, scheduling, estimating, resource management, budgeting, etc. Proven ability to conceptualize and execute deadline driven projects with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects Experience demonstrating competency in proposing, documenting, justifying and presenting findings or alternative PM approaches for a project Strong communication and writing ability understood by technical and non-technical individuals; ability to present project status to senior leaders _ Additional Qualifications which will distinguish candidates:_ Solid understanding of business analysis and development processes and problems Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, managers, and employees at all levels Adept at evaluating problems accurately, describing them and displaying sound judgment Ability to quickly assess and summarize information and effectively identify issues or risks and potential resolutions Prior experience working on data warehouse projects PMP certification is preferred _Total Compensation:_ As an employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are offered a great career opportunity influencing a wide-spectrum of services to the diverse populations we serve - but it's more than a paycheck.
