The Director will manage MGE s cyber security risk in alignment with overall business goals and strategy and will provide effective governance, operational efficiency, performance monitoring and measurement of risk and cyber capabilities. Requirements: Minimum Education and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field Ten (10) years of progressive Cyber Security and Information Technology experience Six (6) years of progressive technology management experience CISSP or equivalent ~AND~ Gaming, hospitality, and/or entertainment experience is preferred Experience in implementing and maintaining CIS 20 and ISO 27001 frameworks Experience in creating and maintaining a security/compliance capital and operational budget Deep understanding of cyber security and the relationship between threat, vulnerability, and information value in the context of risk management Track record of developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy and plan for managing cyber security across a large and diverse organization Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret business drivers and develop practical security solutions that provide adequate security to support the business Experience in presenting to senior level leadership and management boards Demonstrated ability to build effective, cohesive, and collaborative management and operational teams Strong understanding of emerging technology and digital trends Known as a thought leader or active content contributor in the cyber security community Strong proficiency with common cyber security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and industry leading practices
