Job Description

Position: Technical Support Specialist
Department: IT
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Reports to: Controller
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

General Purpose:
Provide phone, remote and helpdesk support to 200 plus end users over eight locations across PA & NY. Involved in project work and assist all locations with IT related needs.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the IT helpdesk in conjunction with the systems administrator
Build out computers for distribution to end users
Maintain the fleet of mobile devices across the company
Purchase new products and equipment
Assist in IT projects
Obtain/Maintain licensing for all software
Provide support and customer service for end users
Document IT infrastructure and policy
Work on automating repetitive processes
Travel to branch offices and provide hands on IT support
Assist in setting up IT infrastructure such as racks, switches, TVs, wireless access points, etc.
Assist in growing IT at SEI
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned

General Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
2 years of technical helpdesk experience
Solid understanding of modern networking
Experience supporting Windows domain
Familiarity with ESXi, Dell EQ SANS, Windows Domain, on premise Exchange, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Cisco UCM, Docker
High degree of attention to detail required
Have a customer service mentality
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and standard procedures
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis
Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude. Team members rely on each other to complete required tasks in order to meet daily and weekly schedules, and as a result a good attendance record and a team focus is critical
Be quality and precision-driven, and able to follow all quality and safety requirements
