It's also home to bold technologists, marketers and ecommerce renegades who are shaping the future of beauty. **About the team** The Global Online Product Development group is responsible for leading out on enterprise-level enhancements and innovations to ELC's global eCommerce platform. The Account & Checkout Team is a part of the Global Product Development group and is focused specifically on the management and evolution the online account and checkout experiences that drive engagement and sales for our 22 global prestige beauty brands. The Product Manager has content authority for the Backlog for Account and Checkout programs across all eCommerce sites globally. They are responsible for identifying Customer needs, prioritizing Features, guiding the work and developing the program Vision and Roadmap. The Product Manager must have ample experience managing enterprise level projects for multiple markets, with strong experience specifically in the eCommerce space. The Product Manager should understand intricacies related to eCommerce fulfillment logistics, local relevance related to features in the online purchase funnel, and customer experience best practices for the checkout and account features on our websites. The checkout and account features on ELC's global ecommerce platform serve millions of customers around the globe across the ELC portfolio of brands business globally. Impeccable communication skills are required, as Product Managers work closely with Executive Leadership as well as cross functional teams including creative, UX, business, engineering, and database. Product Managers will ultimately possess an incredible amount of knowledge on the ELC global eCommerce platform, as well as industry trends and best practices as it relates to user experience and modern eCommerce technologies. Product Managers are both detail-oriented and strategic in their roadmap planning and communication with global stakeholders. **Job Responsibilities** * Understand customer needs and validate solutions - serve as the voice of the customer for the ART (Agile Release Train) and work with customers (and other Product Managers) to constantly understand and communicate their needs, participating in a validation of proposed solutions * Own the quality and end-deliverable of all Checkout and Account solutions - own domain for all account /checkout features & customer experience, ensuring features are best-in-class, high quality & consistent * Develop and communicate program vision and roadmap -communicate the vision and developed roadmap to development teams and define the features of the system * Serve as an expert in data-driven decision making - leverage data and eCommerce systems/tooling to inform strategic portfolio level recommendations and plans * Manage and prioritize the flow of work -manages the flow and prioritization of work into the program backlog, making sure that there are always enough features ready in the backlog * Participate in PI (Program Increment) planning - During each PI planning session, Product Management presents the vision along with any relevant upcoming Milestones and defines releases and program increments, allocating for technical debt and defining acceptance criteria * Participate in demos and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) -active participant in biweekly System Demos, including the aggregate one at the end of the PI, assessing metrics and evaluating business value * Lead out on the evolution of ELC's global platform as it relates to Account & Checkout, as well as ongoing enhancements, optimizations and innovations moving forward * Methodically gather and document requirements using tech. & business-focused business analytics **Qualifications** * 5 years relevant experience, managing eCommerce initiatives for global enterprises related to business-facing content or data tools. * Product Manager Agile certification - ideally SAFe (Scaled Agile for Enterprise) agile * Bachelor's degree or higher * Impeccable communication (verbal & written) internally/externally * Able to sell ideas and clearly explain product concepts to both technologists and non-technical business and design focused individuals * Ability to lead internal and external stakeholders and project contributors from inception to delivery * Possesses a strong curiosity to test, experiment, try new things and seek answers * Ability to adapt to change * Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems * Attention to detail * Experience and a high degree of comfort with ongoing technological and organizational change * Familiarity and passion for e-commerce trends and best practices **Technical competencies:** * Solid understanding of eCommerce technology and demonstrated interest and experience in leading technology projects. * Solid understanding of UX principles of business-to-business tools content and data management tools as well as consumer facing interfaces * Understanding of how to design tests and interpret test results * Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making * Ability to lead ideation workshops and product planning sessions **What We Offer** * Free Product Allowance & Employee Discounts (on ELC products and also at gyms, retailers, restaurants and more) * Tuition Reimbursement & Student Loan Contributions * Generous Parental Leave (20 weeks) * Flexible Summer Friday options * Benefits eligibility on day 1 * Competitive 401k Company match & a Company-funded retirement growth account **Job:** Online / E-Commerce **Primary Location:** Americas-US-NY-New York **Job Type:** Standard **Schedule:** Full-time **Shift:** 1st (Day) Shift **Job Number:** 1914070We are an equal opportunity employer.
