The Systems Management and Consulting team is seeking qualified applicants for a senior Business Systems Consultant position. This position is responsible for managing the department support for key projects that cross over multiple skill block areas within the SMC team.

  • Representation/participation in larger project teams within the different business lines supported, coordination/management of First Data Resources development requests specific to Wells Fargo and oversight of all departmental activities associated throughout the project.
  • Consults with business partners to clarify project objectives, identify and define project requirements, timelines and participation in discovery efforts for potential future projects.
  • Partners with the business lines supported to provide technical direction in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are efficient and meet the business requirements.
  • Work with the business partners to resolve system production issues, questions, assess business needs and provide recommendations.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
  • 5+ years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo PAC2000 -WF's ticketing system based on Remedy application
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of FDR (First Data Resources)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and research skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Consumer, Retail and Small Business Lending products




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $68,200 Mid: $96,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $68,200 Mid: $96,000
